About Me

Linda E. Offner, J.D., A.C.S.W., L.C.S.W. is a licensed psychotherapist, mediator, former litigator and published author who holds licenses in Florida, New York, California and Arizona.  She received her degree from Columbia University in New York and has been practicing psychotherapy for nearly two decades.  She has experience working in private and group practices, agencies, clinics, hospitals, law firms and corporations.  She has been published in areas including relationships, abuse, depression, addiction and work-related issues.  She was recently featured in the Miami Herald annual section on "Sparking Up Your Relationship".  She describes her approach to psychotherapy in the following manner:

"I am passionate about establishing a therapeutic alliance with my clients and as we embark on their journey toward enhanced self discovery, increased self-confidence, satisfying and rewarding relationships and increased work productivity.  I want my clients to feel respected, comfortable, safe and trusting as they engage with me in the process of therapy.  There is nothing more rewarding than watching a client heal from past wounds, overcome internal and external struggles, increase their sense of empowerment, rediscover love, and find their true potential to live the meaningful and loving lives that they desire and deserve.

In all of my professional endeavors, I have always valued and connected with the individual struggling to find his or her way in the face of difficulties that life can present, and always strove and continue to strive to help him or her to make better sense of their unique predicament, with an eye toward successful resolution of the problem.  I want people to better understand and accept who they are and to process their difficulties in a way that enables them to move from victim to survivor, and to recognize that they hold the power to learn new and more effective ways to create the positive changes that they want in their lives."

Linda welcomes hearing from you and can be reached at (954) 962-5511.
